Tracy spiridakos

 

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was the lead actress as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! Between 2009 and 2010. In the following year, she was a part of Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson on the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction series Revolution from 2012-2014, for which she was nominated for from 2009-2010 for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson was her character on the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Since 2017, Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. As Detective Hailey Upton.





 Childhood and early life



 Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg to Anastasia Spiridakos (griek-born restaurant owners) and George Spiridakos (born in Winnipeg). There are two brothers. The family relocated to her father's hometown, Skala, Greece south of Sparta just a few years after her birth, before returning to Canada in 1992. She strongly believes in her Greek roots and is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos began acting at the age of junior high school and pursued her education at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School, Winnipeg, in 2000.
